GOALKEEPER TRAINING

It is clear that our top flight league is dominated by goalkeepers from overseas, Italy, Germany, Australia and America to name a few.  The development of keepers in these countries is taken very seriously and the earlier goalkeepers can be positively influenced the better.

 PH-Soccer is now offering a fantastic opportunity for young goalkeepers to learn new or fine tune existing skills required to develop into a competent and confident goalkeeper.

Could YOU be the next David Seaman or Paul Robinson?  Heres the place to start!!

All sessions professionally stuctured as follows:

Warm up including ball familiarity

Technique work: These practices are designed to improve technical performance and knowledge.  Games.  Each session will finish with high tempo goalkeeping games.  

Topics covered: Basic handling, diving techniques, 1v1, crosses, distribution and reaction work.  
Also beat the keeper and penalty comps!

The Coach for these sessions will be Martin Edwards who has great experience working with young gkeepers at Spurs , QPR, Middlesbrough, Leyton Orient and in the USA. Martin is currently working at Fulham's Academy.
